'2012' What's All The Fuss About?

Preamble:  

We are hearing a great deal these days about Climate Change, December 31st, 2012, Becoming a Universal Human...and what does all of this mean?   Many of us are experiencing fear at the prospect of a disaster.  Indeed, the weather changes, the escalation in violence in many countries, increased gasoline and food prices as well as the knowledge that incidence of starvation in countries where hungry has long been an issue as well as the expressions of fear within the officials in our own government all encourage our expression of apprehension and anxiety at the whole idea of what the future holds.  We are being encouraged to conserve, to respect, to go back to basics.  What effect could this possibly have on the state of the world as we know it?  Possibly, and probably, the weather changes, and the planetary changes we are witnessing, are in effect the planet being cleansed from the abuses of human consumption.  As an energy worker, I witness regularly, the impact of raising the vibration in my own system and in the system of my client when I am in close proximity or have my hands upon their system.  Any and all lower vibrational phenomena such as physical illness, emotional illness, any unhealth within the system is brought up to the surface to be healed. Indeed, when I began doing energy work, old issues were brought to the surface to be examined and healed in whatever way that was possible.  I believe that this is indeed what is happening at this time on planet earth.  As I read the channel work entitled 'Oneness', this idea which has been with me for some time, has been confirmed and I am again in awe of the wonders of Nature and the work with which I have been entrusted;  that of raising awareness of the need for us to change.

This workshop is about how we are being gently nudged forward and how we can find ways to recognize what is happening and our role within this framework.

Purpose:  

To highlight and explore the increasing changes taking place in human consciousness and the planet as witnessed by the earth and weather changes in the 20^th century, particularly since the 1960s.  To provide a place for ideas to be discussed, for fears. doubts and apprehensions to be expressed and for knowledge to be shared.   

Description:   

During this workshop we will cover material ranging in scope from the ‘Mayan Factor’ by Jose Arguilles to the popular work by Lynn Grabhorn on creating the life you want, the prophesies, channeled material and Gregg Braden’s ‘Awakening to Zero Point: the collective initiation’ depicting this period of change on the planet earth.   As we move ever closer to 2012, more and more writings and our own increased awareness of what is taking place push us to begin making changes in our own lives.  We will explore this phenomena within this workshop.

I will introduce this material with a talk on the work of Marilyn Ferguson, written in the 1980’s and build upon that description of the psychological changes taking place in the minds of men, to the work of Jose Arguilles and the results of his research in Mexico and surrounding area in the1980’s, then the channeled works of various authors, including Barbara Hand Clow and Mary Summer Rain.  We will also discuss recent popular works by Eckhart Tolle  and his appearance with OPRAH as further evidence of the shift in consciousness from Ego to Essence of the populations in the western world.

I will offer this workshop 4 times each year, beginning in September and October 2008, in January and February 2009 and again in April and May 2009.  In will preempt each presentation with a free evening talk.  You are invited to come to hear, view and discuss these issues on the minds and in the hearts of many these days, that of the future of our home, planet Earth.   I will  present the books and videos of Gregg Braden, earth scientist, aerospace engineer, and sacred sites journeyer.  

I will present Gregg’s video, with an introduction to each segment with the assistance of his book.  I will present as well, various other on the phenomena of 2012. The videos will be shown over 4 evenings, consisting of an introduction to the video, the one hour showing of the video, and approximately one hour for discussion following the viewing. 

We will also learn a about collaborative listening and speaking as developed by Danaan Parry as a means of effectively sharing our ideas and perceptions.

Duration:

Workshop will be offered in 4 segments (3 hours per week) over 4 weeks beginning on Thursday, September 18th, 25th, and October 2nd and 9th, 2008 and January 11th, 18th, and February 15th, and 22nd, 2009.  This workshop will be offered again in the spring of 2009.

$400.. ^{+ G.S.T.} payable at time of registration.  Number of  participants for each presentation will be limited to 15 to ensure time for questions and discussion.
